Mellow

Poetry

Mellow tones fill the air.
A flute, a harp, an orchestra.
My eyelids droop.
My mind is still.
I fall asleep,
Against my will.

When I awake the tune has gone,
Calm mellow feelings, linger on.

I am retired, enjoy reading, writing and painting watercolours. I keep a curious outlook on life. Remember the past. Live in the present. Welcome the future
